1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the web application and services provided by TRAVSOL SRL under the brand “Drumul lui Pintea” (“the App”, “the Service”).
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Drumul lui Pintea is a platform for self-guided GPS-triggered audio tours, offering cultural and historical content about Maramureș and the folk hero Pintea Viteazul. The App runs in your mobile web browser — no app store download required — and works offline after downloading the tour content.
3. Registration and Account
3.1. Some features (purchases, progress saving) require account creation. You must provide your name and email address.
3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3.3. Only one account per person is permitted.
4. Purchases and Payment
4.1. Tours may be free or paid. Prices are displayed in RON (lei) or EUR, inclusive of VAT.
4.2. Payment is processed via NETOPIA Payments.
4.3. Purchase confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide.
4.4. Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already made.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
5.1. Due to the digital nature of our products (audio content available immediately after purchase), no refunds are offered after the purchased content has been downloaded or accessed.
5.2. Exception: if a purchased tour cannot be accessed due to a technical fault on our side, we will provide a remedy (repair or refund).
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1. All content in the App — texts, audio recordings, maps, images, videos — is the property of TRAVSOL SRL or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.
6.2. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6.3. Copying, redistributing, reselling, or commercial use of the content without our written consent is prohibited.
7. Acceptable Use
7.1. You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose or any purpose prohibited by Romanian or European law.
7.2. Attempting to access our servers, databases, or technical infrastructure without authorization is strictly forbidden.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Audio content and information in our tours are provided in good faith, based on historical research and local sources. TRAVSOL SRL does not guarantee the absolute historical accuracy of legends or folk stories presented.
8.2. You assume full responsibility for your personal safety while following the routes. Routes involve travel on varied terrain; wear appropriate footwear and follow road and mountain safety rules.
8.3. TRAVSOL SRL is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages incurred while following tours.
8.4. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the price paid for the relevant tour.
9. Force Majeure
TRAVSOL SRL is not liable for failure to perform obligations caused by force majeure events (fires, earthquakes, war, civil unrest, pandemics, network outages, etc.).
10. Personal Data
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://drumulpintea.ro/privacy-policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
11.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
11.2. You will be notified by email or via an in-app notice.
11.3. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably; if unsuccessful, the competent courts of Baia Mare, Romania, shall have jurisdiction.
